It was 1968, I was a brand new student at Central having just moved back to LaCrosse after living in Boone, IA. entering my Junior year. As a nervous, kinda shy guy not knowing anyone, there sat Roxi, in my homeroom class with a big smile and a friendly voice. She was the first person to talk to me and put me at ease, I'll never forget that. I always wished that she would have made an appearance at a Central Reunion but to the best of my knowledge she never did. I never forget that smile though :-)

Yeah George, I can relate. I met Roxie in Jr high and her big smile and bubbly personality instantly got my attention. The puppy love was booming back then and I was attached to her right away.I was good friends with her mom and dad and spent time with them even when Roxie wasn't there. MA George was a lovely person so you could see where Roxie got her sweet personality from. Hopefully there will be a lot of school mates next August so we can get together, life is way too short and we're all on the clock.
