Tom was our first baseman on our Powell Park Intermediate fastpitch championship team in 1967. He was a good teammate and friend and I was very saddened when I heard of his death. As far as the team goes that brings to six team members who have died since 1967. Mike Pitz, Steve Lepsch,Gomer Schrieder, Jerry Stellick , Harley Schreider, and now Tom. I guess the good Lord needed another good ball player to join his fellow teammates. To all of you please except my sincere sypathy on Toms death. may he rest in Peace. Amen
Tom has been a good friend since the last year of high school, and over the years we have done the bar scene, golfed together, played cards, laughed and shared many memories. He grew somewhat distant the last few years I wish things had turned out differently. You will be missed.
