I finished high school and went on to college in LaCrosse. I completed my B.A. and went on to Princeton to finish a Master of Divinity. Following that I served as a pastor in three different Presyterian churches over a fourteen year period. I began clinical work in 1990 and currently serve as Director of Spiritual Care Services for a system of four hospitals and thirteen clinics. I am also a member of the Medical Ethics Committee and supervise an outpatient Grief Counseling center. I enjoy the Duluth/Superior area and especially like the lake. The lake walk here reminds me of the river and the park in LaCrosse.

I'm sure there are many school stories, but I best remember Henry Aronson and the work he did with the choir. I didn't make it into the choir my first year, but he encouraged me to be part of a men's group he had started. The second year I made the choir. I remember how he challenged us to always be the best, and somehow managed to remind us we were better than we thought.
